EAST MARLBOROUGH — Unionville will crown a new Fair Queen and Princess, Wednesday night — the same pageant that a year ago launched Newlin’s Claire Werkiser on a path that would lead to her becoming Pennsylvania State Fair Queen.
Once again, by popular demand, the event will emceed by former Unionville Superintendent of Schools Sharon Parker. The pageant will be held starts at 7 pm at Unionville Elementary School. The pageant will receive special attention this year as our reigning Fair Queen and also Pennsylvania State Fair Queen, Claire Werkiser will be returning to Unionville.
The fair opens Sept. 29.
