POCOPSON — Many Chester County residents enjoy seeing wild birds in their yards.  The colder months are a great opportunity to entice our feathered friends by supplying them easy access to food and water.

Brandywine Ace Pet & Farm, 1150 Pocopson Rd. is hosting a free wild bird seminar, Tuesday, February 3 at 4:00 p.m., which will include light refreshments and some great discounts just for those in attendance.

Discussion topics include an overview of various seeds and which kind of seed works best in various feeders.  Attendees will learn what to do to attract particular birds and which birds are present locally in which seasons.

Also included will be information on how to protect various birds from predators and setting up a bird nesting box.

Special discounts for those attending the event include a FREE plush Audubon bird with bird call with any purchase, 50% OFF all birdfeeders, 3 FREE suet cakes with a suet feeder purchase, $5 OFF a 20 lb. bag of Purina Premium Picnic or $10 OFF a 40 lb. bag.
