Get into the spooky spirit of the season this Saturday, Oct. 19, at the Fourth Annual Fright Feast, a monstrously generous fund-raiser for several worthy area causes.

Sponsored by the Kennett Square Lions Club’s Morning Branch, the popular event starts at 6:30 p.m. at Northbrook Marketplace. The Halloween-themed event will feature food, musical entertainment, costume competitions, tarot card readings, a silent auction and door prizes.

This year, raffle tickets will be available to purchase the contents of a casket of spirits (sorry, the casket is already taken) or a cauldron of cold ones, a selection of specialty beers.

The beneficiaries of the event will be Camp Dreamcatcher, which provides therapeutic and educational services for children infected with or affected by HIV/AIDS; the Adult Literacy Program; and Lions sight-related charities.

Admission, which includes light food, wine, and beer, is $50 per person. Tickets can be purchased through Debra Swayne at 610-388-7270, Patty Hillkirk at 610-716-0476, or Donna Murphy at 610-444-2702. Northbrook Marketplace is located at 1805 Unionville-Wawaset Road in Pocopson Township.
