Two shows opening at Chester County Art Association

Dual exhibit and members’ juried show will be on display

The Chester County Art Association’s Members’ Juried Show will open Friday, Oct. 18, along with “Eye of the Artist: Two Perspectives” featuring artists Donald Leong and Angela Reed Breese. The public is invited to attend a free opening reception on Thursday, Oct. 17, from 5 to 8 p.m. The exhibits will continue through Dec. 20.

In the Allinson Gallery, a wide range of artwork created by CCAA members in all media will be on display.  The juror for the show is Margaret Winslow, associate curator for contemporary art at the Delaware Art Museum.

Visitors can enjoy a dual show in the Huston Gallery, where Breese and Long will juxtapose muted watercolor landscapes and vivid paintings, both representational and abstract.

The Chester County Art Association is located at 100 North Bradford Avenue in West Chester. Gallery hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
