Kennett fund-raiser taps into craft beer fervor

Winterfest to feature offerings from at least 25 craft breweries

Historic Kennett Square is brewing up a winter beer festival.

Historic Kennett Square is brewing another appetizing opportunity for craft beer lovers: the first annual Kennett Winterfest.

Modeled after the popular Kennett Brewfest, a fund-raiser held in September that usually sells out, Winterfest will enable participants to partake of acclaimed food, beer, and musical entertainment.

Tickets, which cost $65 – $15 for designated drivers – are limited and can only be purchased in advance online at http://www.kennettbrewfest.com. No one under 21 will be admitted, and the festival will be held regardless of the weather.
