‘EXITS’ to make entrance at art association

Nonprofit agency to host two new exhibits, one a group show, the other solo

Two new exhibits of the same name will make an entrance starting this evening at the Chester County Art Association.

“EXITS,” a group show of about 100 works in all media, and “Darcie Goldberg EXITS,” a collection of black and white photographs taken all over the world.

Goldberg, the art association’s executive director who is exhibiting in large and smaller formats, will showcase works capture the soul of the subjects and the grandeur of landscapes from Easter Island to Africa.  The exhibition continues through Dec. 21, 2012. She will present a gallery talk on Saturday, Dec. 15, at 2 p.m. All proceeds from sale of Goldberg’s photographs will  benefit CCAA’s upcoming renovations.

The Chester County Art Association is a nonprofit that promotes participation in the arts through instruction, exhibits and community outreach. It is located at 100 N. Bradford Ave., West Chester. Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday. For more information, call 610-696-5600.
