Town Tours and Village Walks to kickoff June 6

Chester County Commissioners Josh Maxwell, Marian Moskowitz and Eric Roe have announced details of the 2024 Town Tours & Village Walks program, kicking-off at the Chester County History Center in West Chester on Thursday evening, June 6.

Celebrating its 30th year, the Chester County Town Tours & Village Walks program is a highly anticipated series that attracts residents and visitors from around the area.  The free events feature Chester County’s cultural heritage through a series of engaging lectures and evening strolls. The nine different programs, held weekly in communities throughout Chester County, continue through August 15.

In addition to celebrating the 30th anniversary of the program, the June 6 kick-off event will focus on the Borough of West Chester’s 225th anniversary, highlighting its evolution from Quaker village to the vibrant community it is today. Doors at the Chester County History Center will open at 5:00 p.m. for registration, with the program beginning promptly at 5:30 p.m., followed by the walking tours.
