Passionate. Devoted. Team player. These are all words used to describe Jaclin Krumrine, the recipient of the 2022 Pennsylvania Association of School Business Officials’ (PASBO) Gary E. Reeser Memorial Award. This award honors an outstanding member who has exemplified professionalism, leadership and innovation in the field of school business management.

Krumrine was nominated for the Gary E. Reeser Memorial Award for her work in the formation of an emergency food program which accepts donations to stock a food bank that responds to emergencies and assists students and families in need. As the chief financial officer of Owen J. Roberts School District (OJRSD), Krumrine has directed the fiscal operations of OJRSD for the past 23 years.

“Jackie is an exceptional leader within our district,” said Dr. Will Stout, the superintendent of OJRSD. “She leads with the highest degree of professional ethics, moral leadership and sound business principles associated with accounting, auditing, budgeting, financial reporting and financial planning.”

“Receiving this award means so much to me because it is an achievement award that is based on recognition from your peers,” said Krumrine, “It’s an honor and privilege to follow those who have previously received this award. PASBO is an organization that promotes professional development and the highest standards in school business operations and I’m very proud to be a part of this organization and recognized for this award.”

Krumrine has served as a member of the PASBO Board of Directors from 2014-17 and as the regional chapter president, vice-president, secretary and mentorship program coordinator.

She led her school district in the development and implementation of an energy conservation plan, which resulted in receiving the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania “Moving to the Head of the Class Award” in 2015.
