UHS’ Together We Stand starts Sept. 29

EAST MARLBOROUGH — TEDxUnionvilleHS is proud to announce Together We Stand, the 2020 TEDxUnionvilleHS virtual short program series. In these uncertain times, they believe in the power of community discussion to bring us all a little closer together.

This new series focuses on audience participation, encouraging community members to share their ideas and experiences. The first event, featuring guest speaker Alex Benoit, is at 7pm on September 29th.

Benoit is a Franco-American high school senior who is full-time dual enrolled at the University of Georgia. He is majoring in mathematics and microbiology. An alumnus of the Research and Science Institute and the Georgia Governor’s Honors program, Alex is fascinated by infectious diseases. He’s involved in several laboratories studying host-pathogen interactions and is an advocate for numerous health organizations on campus. Recently, he has founded The Finch Podcast, a global social media organization of 30 students that has interviewed over 50 experts, including US Ambassadors and former Cabinet members.

Please join TEDxUnionvilleHS the evening of September 29th for an engaging and thought-provoking discussion with Alex. More information and RSVP information can be found at their website, https://www.tedxunionvillehs.com/, or on their Instagram, @tedxunionvillehs.
