KENNETT SQUARE — The Kennett Area Park and Recreation Board will organize the Mushroom Festival 5K Race or 2Mile Walk on Sunday Sept. 11.
The race will begin at 8:30am in front of Kennett High School at the intersection of Broad Street and East South Street. Children under 12 run or walk for free. All proceeds will go to local charities and non profit organizations. Registrations are accepted the day of the race, however pre registration is appreciated. Participants will enjoy a fun race through Kennett, food, drink, and prizes for the winners! Any business who would like to sponsor this event should contact KAPRB at 610-444-6314.
