Super Six: A bit early, but awesome

Get ready for Summer with these exciting options

By Kelly Hockenberry, Columnist, The Times

KellyColumn415Newest815I realize that technically my Sunday Super Six isn’t due until next weekend. However, I will be surrounded by a pile of Kleenex as I attempt to draft a proper graduation post. Therefore, here are my current obsessions to kick off SUMMER 2016 (even though it still doesn’t feel like Mother Nature is holding up her end of the bargain)

  • Cropped Jumpsuit There is nothing in the world easier than a romper! You are automatically more fashionable than if you threw on a LBD (little black dress…which, certainly has a special place in my heart). I am digging this one because of the color (perfect for spring & summer) and the cropped length (to show off a great pair of shoes!) Put one in your shopping cart:
  • Applying False Eyelashes I love this post from Real Simple because it makes applying false lashes seem REAL SIMPLE….which, if you have ever tried it yourself is, in reality, not easy at all. However, these tips do make it worth attempting a second time. Watch & learn here:
  • J.Crew striped blouse This is Parisian style at its finest! Seriously swooning over the bell sleeves and structured design of this top. I am picturing wearing it with my favorite white jeans and a cute, wedge sandal. Instant chic! Order before your size sells out:
  • How to contour Just like putting on lashes, mastering the art of contour elevates your makeup to the next level. There are many kits that contain the necessary products; however, this stepbystep tutorial provides a guide as to which areas of the face need bronzer and which need highlight. Click here:
  • Lemon, SunDried Tomato and Almond Quinoa Salad I mean, does it crack you up that last time I suggested Chrissy Teigen’s cookbook complete with Salted Frosted Flakes French Toast Casserole and now I’m craving a quinoa salad? Yep. That’s me. I’m all about balance. I like this recipe because it can be served hot or cold. Perfect for a summer BBQ or picnic. Try it :
  • SheShed A “SheShed” ?!?! I’m even enamored with the name! As the lone female in a pack of males, I feel like I deserve a little private oasis like this. How would you decorate yours, ladies? Mine would have pink furniture, a cute bar cart with sparkly champagne flutes, and a T.V. that only played the BRAVO shows. Wanna come over? Build yours here:

There you have it! As always, please leave your comments in the section below this post. Happy Weekend!
