WCASD to host free internet safety forums

Area elementary parents are invited; babysitting available on site during sessions

The West Chester Area School District (WCASD) will host two“Safety in the Digital Age for Elementary Parents” information sessions that are free and open to the public. The first session is this Thursday.Safety in Digital

Does your child know how to work responsibly on a computer with other students on projects? What are some of the ‘flags’ parents should be aware of while their children are working online? Questions like these, along with important guidance, will be provided to help ensure younger children are safely utilizing today’s technology.

The information session will be offered twice – the first session will be held this Thursday, April 30 beginning at 7 p.m. inside the Spellman Administration Building (829 Paoli Pike, West Chester, PA 19380) and the second session will be held on Wednesday, May 6 beginning at 7 p.m. inside Hillsdale Elementary School (725 West Market Street, West Chester, PA 19382).

Babysitting will be available on-site during both sessions. “Safety in the Digital Age for Elementary Parents” is sponsored by the West Chester Area School District and the West Chester Area Education Foundation.
