New Garden police seek info on CVS theft


New Garden police are seeking information about these two men, linked to a theft of $3,000 in cosmetics from a CVS store, Wednesday.

NEW GARDEN — Township police are looking for help from the public to apprehend two men who allegedly robbed a CVS of some some $3,000 in products, Wednesday.

Police said the two entered and left the store, located at the intersection of Gap Newport Pike and Newark Road, between 8 p.m. and 9 p.m., but it was only after they left for the last time, that store employees determined that about $3,000 in cosmetic products appeared to have been stolen.

Police released surveillance images of the two, as well as their car, thought to be a silver Hyundai Sonata.

Police said that store employees informed them this is the sixth such theft at CVS stores in the region.

Police are asking anyone who may be able to provide assistance in identifying these suspects to contact the department, either by calling the non-emergency line at 610-268-3171 or the department’s tip line at 610-268-2907, ext. 222.
