Cherry Crest kicks off 19th season, May 24


The Giant Jump Pillows are just one of many fun and exciting attractions at Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, which opens for its 19th season Saturday, May 24.

RONKS – Cherry Crest Adventure Farm, home of the 19th Annual Amazing Maize Maze®, kicks off its Spring Season Saturday, May 24th. Each Saturday through June 28th (as well as Memorial Day Monday), from noon to 5pm, Cherry Crest’s Barnyard will spotlight over 30 of its most popular Farm Fun activities and rides – from the three-lane Straw Bale Racer, Giant Hay Chute Slide and Giant Jump Pillows to the Farm Tour Wagon Ride and Animal Grove.

New this year is an enhanced “Corny’s Ball-Cade” that covers soccer, basketball, football and baseball, and stars Farmer Fastball – an electronic speed pitch that tests the question “Can you hit the side of a barn?”  For young children there’s the Lil’ Farmers Playland, Hay Jump Tent, Straw Bale Tunnel and Lil’ Cabin Buildin’.
Guests can also get a sneak preview of this year’s Amazing Maize Maze design during its growing and grooming stages. A special spring lunch menu (including Cherry Crest Farm’s famous kettle corn and fresh squeezed lemonade) is also available at the Barnyard and Chuck Wagon Cafes.
A  Spring Season Day Pass is $10.00 for all ages 3 and up. Children age 2 and under are admitted free. Back by popular demand is the $20 Summer Bounce Back Pass that includes UNLIMITED admission to all activities, including the Amazing Maize Maze, every day the farm is open May 24 to Sept. 19.
The farm’s Summer Season, which features all activities in the Courtyard, Barnyard and the 2014 Amazing Maize Maze, begins July 4th.
