KENNETT SQUARE — Kennett Square’s Farmer’s Market has become the go-to place for area residents looking for fresh, locally grown and produced items — and now the first outdoor market of the year comes a week earlier.
Due to popular request, the Farmers’ Market has been held indoors once a month throughout the winter and the weekly outdoor market will now start a week earlier this Spring.
March 18 and April 15 the market will be held under the Holly Peters Oriental Rugs shop at 109 South Broad Street from 12 – 4 pm. Beginning May 6, the Farmers’ Market will return to the Genesis Walkway on State Street between 2 and 6 pm.
The market will be held every Friday through October. In addition to a wide variety of locally grown seasonal produce, the market also offers artisan cheeses and yogurt, hearty breads and baked goods, plants and cut flowers, grass-fed meat and poultry, organic pet products, and so much more.
