Unionville boys hockey tripped up by East

The Unionville Indians suffered a heart-breaking loss last night to West Chester East High School.  Despite the Indians’ fantastic team chemistry, the team failed to convert on the few opportunities they had to score.  East’s goalie, Brian Jacobs, is known throughout the league as “The Wall,” and is rightfully so called.  The Indians peppered Jacobs with shots, but, only managed to put one point on the board.  Unionville’s lone goal was scored so late in the third period that it was irrecoverable, ending the team’s hopes of bringing home a Ches-Mont Championship.  The Indians’ next game is Thursday, March 10 at 8:30 at Iceline – Rink 1.—Matt Brady
