The Unionville High School Football team’s Quarterback Club (QBC) is once again raising money for the team in cooperation with local mulch providers — and the best part: players, coaches and parents will come and spread it for you.

The mulching season started in mid-March and runs through mid-June.  The QBC will mulch on Saturdays and Sundays, with time slots at 10am and 12pm each day.  Most jobs will take 1-2 hours to spread.  The QBC can schedule a maximum of two mulching jobs per day.  Jobs must be scheduled a minimum of three days in advance to ensure staffing for your job.

The QBC reserve the right to postpone a scheduled date if weather dictates the need to do so.

Those interested in supporting the program can order bulk mulch from the retailer of your choice and ensure it will be delivered on time for our arrival.

The QBC is suggesting a minimum donation of $30/yard.  Every penny donated goes directly to the UHS QBC for the benefit of our middle school and high school football programs.

Due to the fact that we often get to a customer’s site and find they have not ordered enough mulch to cover the area they would like covered, the organizers ask that you accurately estimate the amount of mulch you need using this guide: One cubic yard of mulch (27 cubic ft) covers – 100 sq. ft (10 x10 area) 3 inches thick or 150 sq. ft 2 inches thick (per Mulch-It and Mr. Mulch).

We can only spread the mulch that is on-site when we arrive.  If additional mulch is required to finish the job, you will need to schedule another date for it to be spread unless it arrives before our spreaders have finished spreading what’s already there.
