CHADDS FORD — Music, great wine and great food and fabulous shopping are just some of the reasons to mark May 19 on your calendar as the date of the date of the second annual Penns Woods Winery Wine & Jazz Festival.
You can enjoy wines from your favorite local wineries while mingling with wine makers. Shop from local artisans, enter to win from more than 20 raffle prizes, attend wine seminars, and indulge in a gourmet lunch from food vendors. There will be live music by Wheat, Stone, Bridge.
There will also be free caricature drawing from 1pm – 3pm!
The ‘Bringing Bordeaux to the Brandywine’ Seminar by Victor Ykourk will run from 2:30 – 3:30pm — Seminar is first come first serve and will be capped at 30 people. The day ticket ($25) includes six wine tastings, a souvenir wine glass, live music all day by Wheat, Stone, Bridge, wine seminars by Victor Ykourk , and a free caricature drawing to take home!
During the evening, there will be a special Jazz Under the Stars program held 6 pm- 9 pm. Tickets are $55.
You can taste and sip on your favorite Penns Woods Wines while listening to the tunes of the renowned Jazz Trio, The Tony Forliano Jazz Group. There will be hors d’oeuvres by the acclaimed 12th Street Catering.
The evening ticket includes six wine tastings or a glass of wine, a souvenir wine glass, the live jazz concert, and hors d’oeuvres all night.
An all-day pass — for both the afternoon session and the Jazz Under the Stars event can be purchased for $65.
