UHS boys volleyball off to strong start

The Unionville Boys volleyball team in recent action.

EAST MARLBOROUGH — Unionville High School Boys Varsity Volleyball, in only their second season, has hit the ground (court!) running (spiking!).  Their record is currently 4 – 1, undefeated in league play, and they next face off against league rival Avon Grove on Thursday.  The team faced a dominant Glenn Mills squad during spring break.

Both teams came into the match undefeated in league play. Unionville won 3 – 0.  A special shout out goes to Nick Taylor, Steve Rosenberg, and Pat Megill for their stellar performances in the match. The team beat Lower Merion 3 – 0 on Tuesday. The team was lead by the sniper-like serving of Nick Taylor, the hard hitting offense of Jake Gross, and the defensive effort of David Daly.  Colin Martin added a stuff block (pictured) in Game 3.
