UHS Boys soccer clinches third straight league title

The Unionville High School Boys soccer team clinched its third straight Ches-Mont American Division title and is headed to the District 1 state playoffs.

EAST MARLBOROUGH — On Thursday, October 20, the Unionville High School Boys Soccer team finished its regular season league play with a 5-0 win against Coatesville. The victory gave the team not only the Ches-Mont League American Division championship, but also the overall Ches-Mont title.

The Indians’ record is 12-1 in league and 14-3 overall, with one nonleague game left to play. The team, consisting of eight seniors, eight juniors, and five sophomores, has outscored its opponents 44-9 and has posted 10 shutouts.

This is the third consecutive Ches-Mont title for the boys soccer program.
