The survey is part of the department’s efforts to improve travel and safety where the highway intersects Rt. 926 in Londonderry Township and Rt. 841 in London Grove Township, a PennDOT news release said.

“We ask citizens to complete these brief surveys to provide us with insights on how they travel along Rt. 41 and use the intersections at Rt. 926 and Rt. 841,” PennDOT District Executive Lester C. Toaso said. “This information will be of tremendous value as we work to identify the transportation needs at these two crossings.”

In addition, the website also contains surveys for Rt. 41’s crossings at White Horse Road and Rt. 796 in Londonderry Township due their proximity to the Rt. 926 intersection.

The intersection surveys will be available for completion through Feb. 28. PennDOT also delivered hard copies of the surveys to Londonderry Township and London Grove Township, so citizens can also obtain them from both municipalities. The transportation improvement study on Rt. 41 is expected to be completed this summer. PennDOT then plans to start preliminary engineering on the project to improve Rt. 41 at its crossings with Rt. 926 and Rt. 841, the release said.
