U.S. 202 scheduled for pothole patching

imgBOMOHomeUpcoming area roadwork has been scheduled, said an announcement from the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT), which wants motorists to be mindful of possible delays.

Pothole patching on U.S. 202 in Westtown, Thornbury and Birmingham Townships – and continuing as far as Tredyffrin Township – will result in intermittent lane closures between the Delaware County line and the Montgomery County line. Work will be done from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. from Monday, Jan. 13, through Friday, Jan. 17.

Reconstruction of  Wawaset Road in Pocopson Township to create a roundabout will result in its 24-hour closure between Lenape-Unionville and Corinne Roads. A posted detour will be in effect from Monday, Jan. 20, until Sept. 26.
