EAST MARLBOROUGH — Grace Fellowship Church is holding its annual vacation Bible School, starting July 29.

This year’s theme asks children to enlist in the A.R.M.Y. of God. Recruits will report for duty to God’s boot camp at Grace Fellowship Church this July 29th through August 2nd, Monday through Friday, from 6:00 until 8:30 each night, for intensive training and fun.

The theme for this year comes straight from the Book of Ephesians, chapter 6. In the boot camp youngsters will be learning how to stand strong in the Lord. Students will be putting on the whole armor of God: the belt of truth, the breastplate of righteousness, and the helmet of salvation, wearing shoes equipped with the readiness given by the gospel of peace; and we’ll be learning how to carry the shield of faith and the sword of the Spirit.

Our mission outreach project this year will be a financial contribution to Heart of Hope: The Caralyn Titter Foundation (carasheartofhope.org). Our troops will compete each night, racing to the final goal of raising $50 per troop, a total of about $5.00/child. As part of their “basic training” for the week, perhaps our recruits could take accountability and action for raising the money by helping with chores around your house.

Join us for Bible based teaching, crafts, food, music and lots of fun. Bring your friends!  The Church Vacation Bible School will run from July 29 to August 2, 2013., 6:00 P.M. – 8:30 P.M.  Registration may be done online at www.thegfc.org  or by calling (610) 444- 3422.
