EAST MARLBOROUGH — The bats came alive for the Unionville High School team as it pounded out 18 hits en route to a mercy-rule shortened 17-2 win over Octorara, Wednesday.

Indians (5-7) hauled out the power game. Austin Langerhans had a pair of home runs in the same inning and ended up with four RBI on the day.  Amy Large was a perfect 4-for-4 at the plate with two doubles and three RBI while also picking up the win on the mound.  Kate Mims was 2-for-2 with a double and a home run  and 3 RBI.  Jilly Malone was 2-for-2 and Mandy Hammond was 3-for-4.

The Indians travel to West Chester Rustin on Friday.
