The Chester County Health Department is sponsoring the 4th Annual Healthy Photo Contest to promote National Public Health Week from April 1-7.

Any high school student in the county is eligible to enter a photo depicting the “Picture of Health” theme, such as eating nutritious foods, avoiding tobacco, driving safely, and using walking/biking trails, to name a few. Contestants are encouraged to be creative and artistic.

The first-prize winner will receive a $100 Visa gift card; second place, a $50 card; and third place, a $25 card. Send one photo to cchd@chesco.org in jpg format, no smaller than 50 megapixels and no larger than 4MBs. Include the following information: title of the photo; description in 50 words or less, explaining how it relates to being healthy; first and last name, address, and phone; school name; and grade level.

The deadline for submission is Friday, March 22. The winning photos will be announced on Tuesday, April 2, and will be displayed on the Health Department website, Facebook and Pinterest, guaranteeing tens of thousands of viewers.
