EAST MARLBOROUGH — The Unionville girls baskteball team defeated Oxford 37-25, Thursday night, advancing the teams record to 4-2 overall and 1-1 in Ches-Mont League American Division play.
The Indians used a combination of transition basketball and inside play en route to the win. The team built a 10-point lead early and never relinquished it. Alison Lewis dropped in 12 points and Moria McEvoy 8, Susie Pancoast 7. Pancost grabbed 17 rebounds while McEvoy had 14. Kelsey McDonald dished out 7 assists and contributed 6 points. The team now prepares for the UHS holiday tournament on Tuesday Dec 28th at 7:30 versus Frankford High school.
