Each time a mortgage company requests a copy of any resident\u2019s tax bill (that has already been sent out to the resident), the tax collector charges the company $20. Mortgage companies are asking for proof that the township has the authorization to charge them this fee.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Therefore, the tax collector requested that the fee become an official ordinance in order to prevent any future questioning. The supervisors approved the fee, and they plan to include it as a new ordinance.<\/p>\n<p>The next topic concerned the current paving on South New Street. Supervisor William Kirkpatrick explained that there is a culvert underneath the road that is probably clogged. He proposed the investigation of the culvert in order to prevent any future damage. The investigation and cleaning will cost roughly between $1,300 and $1,500. Despite the surprise in the price, the supervisors approved this proposal.<\/p>\n<p>Lastly, Supervisor John Conklin announced that the township voted and agreed on the PennDOT plan for the rebuilding of the 926 bridge with Pocopson township. \u201cI think that we should support it in any way we can,\u201d said Conklin.
