Millions of tiny geophytes begin the season, blanketing Longwood\u2019s vistas with sweeps of spring-has-sprung color.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Dancing fountains, performances under the stars, and beautiful gardens make the Festival of Fountains at Longwood Gardens magical. The spectacular celebration of music, light, water, and nature includes distinctive garden experiences indoors and out.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Before the fountain performances, guests can sit under the stars and enjoy live music and refreshing brews and pub fare in Longwood\u2019s Beer Garden. Other dining options at Longwood are 1906 Fine Dining and The Caf\u00e9.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">As the season unfolds, flowering trees delightfully punctuate the landscape, radiant tulips stretch toward the sun, and the delicious fragrance of wisteria floats along the breeze.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Visitors can also enjoy special exhibits at the Orchid House.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Admission to Longwood Gardens is $35 for adults, $31 for seniors and college students, $26 for active military and $20 for youth.<\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Winterthur (Route 52, Wilmington, Delaware, 302-888-4600,<a id=\"OWAf3d01c9a-a781-30c6-c869-faebd1469f23\" class=\"OWAAutoLink\" href=\"http:\/\/www.winterthur.org\/\">www.winterthur.org<\/a>) will host present \u201cMay Day: A Celebration of the Spring\u00a0Garden.\u201d<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Mothers and their families can celebrate spring and the coming of summer with fun family activities including face painting, live music, floral arrangements, crafts, and more. Composed in 1960, this work reflects three of Still\u2019s friends, characterized as\u00a0The Sentimental One, The Quiet One,\u00a0and\u00a0The Jovial One.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">\u201cBourbon and\u00a0Bluegrass\u201d will be held on May 10 from 5-8 p.m.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">From Point-to-Point to Derby Day, Winterthur is off to the races in the month of May. Guests can celebrate when Winterthur brings Kentucky Derby style to Delaware with bourbon tastings and live bluegrass.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">The event had been scheduled for May 9, but Winterthur just posted this message &#8212; Please note: due to forecasted weather, this event will take place on May 10, 5:00\u20138:00 p.m.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">The ticket price, which is $65, includes four tastings of bourbon and\/or whiskey, a Crown blackberry and lemonade cocktail, Winterthur rocks glass, a Southern-inspired snack box, live music and access to the garden.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Tickets are $35 for designated drivers and students (includes one non-alcoholic beverage, snack box, live music and access to the garden). The event is free for children under 12 (excludes food and drink).<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Food and drink will be available for purchase. This intimate 60-minute experience takes place in the Barrel Room and provides access to some of its latest wine releases.<\/div>\n<div><\/div>\n<div class=\"elementToProof\">Each session will begin with a brief classroom-style presentation by a Chaddsford Wine Educator.
