{"id":5248,"date":"2011-10-19T15:00:19","date_gmt":"2011-10-19T19:00:19","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/?p=5248"},"modified":"2011-10-19T15:00:19","modified_gmt":"2011-10-19T19:00:19","slug":"letter-unionvilles-own-george-bailey","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/?p=5248","title":{"rendered":"Letter: Unionville&#8217;s own George Bailey"},"content":{"rendered":"<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Letters13.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignright size-full wp-image-5250\" title=\"Letters1\" src=\"http:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Letters13.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"140\" height=\"98\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Letters13.jpg 200w, https:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2011\/10\/Letters13-142x100.jpg 142w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 140px) 100vw, 140px\" \/><\/a>To the Editor:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I am a rank sentimentalist.\u00a0 I\u2019m not embarrassed to admit that my all time favorite movie is <em>It\u2019s a Wonderful Life<\/em>.\u00a0 I\u2019m sure I\u2019ve seen it over 100 times and could quote most of the dialogue in my sleep.\u00a0 My favorite scene is at the cemetery when George Bailey finally comes to the realization that he had made a real difference in the lives of many people. \u201cStrange, isn&#8217;t it?\u201d the Angel Clarence tells him.\u00a0 \u201cEach man&#8217;s life touches so many other lives.
