Proceeds to benefit Wounded Warrior Project<\/em><\/span><\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n

\"\"<\/a>BIRMINGHAM \u2013 <\/strong>The third annual Radley Run Country Club fall seminar will feature a presentation on World War II European and Pacific battles and major events.\u00a0 The event will also recognize local veterans and some will participate in the seminar.<\/p>\n

The event is open to the public and takes place on Wednesday, November 16, 2011, at 6:00pm at the Radley Run clubhouse, 1100 Country Club Road, West Chester.\u00a0 The cost is $20 and reservations can be made by calling 610-793-1660.\u00a0 Seating is limited and reservations are strongly advised.<\/p>\n

All World War II veterans who make a reservation will be able to attend the seminar free.\u00a0 The general public will be able to purchase dinner at Radley after the presentation.\u00a0 All profits of the event will be given to the Wounded Warrior Project.\u00a0 Information on the charity can be found at www.woundedwarriorproject.org<\/a>.\u00a0 The charity is approved by the U.S. Veterans Administration and provides service to soldiers injured in combat.<\/p>\n

The main presentation will be given by Dr. Joseph L. Strange, who was professor of strategic studies of the Marine Corps College from 1990 to 2007.<\/p>\n

\u201cVeterans of World War II should be recognized for their courage and sacrifices,\u201d said Joseph Mendez, General Manager of Radley Run Country Club.\u00a0 \u201cWorld War II is one of the pivotal times in the history of the United States and the world.\u00a0 We are hoping to fill Radley Run on November 16th<\/sup>.\u201d<\/p>\n
