Korengel will be awarded the honor at the 53rd Annual Chairman\u2019s Gala at Longwood Gardens on Saturday, February 22. I am honored to be in such good company,\u201d continued Korengel.<\/p>\n<p>Korengel holds Masters\u2019 Degrees in Divinity, Social Work, Business Administration, and Human Resources from Palmer Theological Seminary. As the Chaplain for the Southern Chester County Regional Police Department, the Kennett Township Police Department, and the Kennett Square Police Department she actively provides emotional support to all police officers as well as the families who have lost loved ones. She has been a Rotarian for over 18 years and has been the President of three different Rotary Clubs, most recently serving as the President of the Rotary Club of Kennett Square, PA. She also served as President of Family Promise of Southern Chester County, which is a non-profit that works to alleviate homelessness.
