On the flip side, her live shows are organic and high energy. She sold out her first ever headline shows –The Troubadour in Los Angeles, Mercury Lounge in New York, and two shows at Camden Assembly Hall in London.

This year, she was offered her first festival slot at Lollapalooza. The tour started on July 25 in Boise, Idaho and will conclude in Santa Ana, California on September 5.

The past year has been a whirlwind for Violet. Her latest single – “I Like (the idea of) You” — has amassed more than 650,000 streams since it was released two weeks ago, and the video has garnered more than 590,000 views in the first week of its release.

Violet is moving along steadily toward the release of a new album titled “Bad Ideas.”

“Crush” was released June 15, 2018. The third single – “I Like (the idea of) You” – was released in May 2019 followed by the “Bad Ideas Act One” EP in July 2019.
