Thank you, Oprah, for acknowledging that a Mother\u2019s Day gift should (ideally) be commensurate with the monumental task of motherhood. \u201cShe gave you life…are you really giving her a coffee mug?\u201d LOVE THAT. (Oprah doesn\u2019t even have children and still gets it right. Is there anything this woman can\u2019t do?)<\/p>\n

I realize, as I type, that I will undoubtedly get a comment about how the \u201cbest gifts\u201d are \u201chomemade gifts\u201d. Trust me, I\u2019ve had my fair share of noodle necklaces and painted handprint pictures.<\/p>\n
