As techs worked to restore the sound system, Sanville and Conley improvised and moved to take a joint selfie with the entire class, prompting laughs. <\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Within a couple of minutes the audio system<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>\u2014 and order \u2014 was restored.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Conley, in making his first address to graduates as principal, stressed the need for people to be good listeners, a skill that he noted is increasingly rare \u2014 a skill that could well be considered a \u201csuper power\u201d for the graduates.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Sanville spoke a bit about words of advice that the graduates will encounter, from friends, family and social media. It will be well-intentioned and probably mostly useful &#8211; as long as you don\u2019t have a friend named Anonymous.\u201d<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\"><span class=\"s1\">Seniors Jacqueline Bridges and Elise Covert offered perspectives on their class\u2019 time \u2014 for some 13 years \u2014 in the district and the changes they underwent.
