{"id":27396,"date":"2015-11-23T12:28:34","date_gmt":"2015-11-23T17:28:34","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/?p=27396"},"modified":"2015-11-23T12:28:34","modified_gmt":"2015-11-23T17:28:34","slug":"three-sworn-in-as-new-adas","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/?p=27396","title":{"rendered":"Three sworn in as new ADAs"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"p1\">WEST CHESTER \u2014 Chester County District Attorney Tom Hogan announced that three new Assistant District Attorneys have <span class=\"s2\">joined<\/span> the District Attorney&#8217;s<span class=\"s1\"> Office<\/span><span class=\"s4\">.<\/span> Matthew Finley, Caitlin Rice, and Samantha Ryan were sworn in before the Honorable Mark <span class=\"s6\">L.<\/span> Tunnell on Friday, November 20, <span class=\"s1\">2015<\/span><span class=\"s5\">.<\/span><\/p>\n<p class=\"p3\">Finley received his undergraduate degree from University<span class=\"Apple-converted-space\">\u00a0 <\/span>of Kentucky and <span class=\"s8\">his<\/span> <span class=\"s8\">law <\/span>degree from William and Mary Law School. <span class=\"s8\">He<\/span> previously was a prosecutor in <span class=\"s8\">Virginia.<\/span><!--more--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_1228965\" style=\"width: 590px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/New-ADAs.jpg-A-300x121.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-1228965\" class=\"wp-image-1228965\" src=\"http:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2015\/11\/New-ADAs.jpg-A-300x121.jpg\" alt=\"New-ADA's.jpg-A\" width=\"580\" height=\"234\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-1228965\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Chester County District Attorney (second from left) with the three newest Asssistant District Attorneys, sworn in to office, last Friday: Matthew Finley, Caitlin Rice, and Samantha Ryan.<\/p><\/div>\n<p class=\"p5\">Rice received her undergraduate degree from College of Charleston and her law degree from Temple University James E. Beasley School of Law. She <span class=\"s8\">is<\/span> a former <span class=\"s8\">intern<\/span> with the United States Attorney&#8217;s Office and the Chester County District Attorney&#8217;s Office.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\">Ryan received her undergraduate degree from Montclair State <span class=\"s9\">Universi<\/span><span class=\"s3\">ty <\/span>and her law degree from Widener University School of Law. Ryan started at the District Attorney&#8217;s Office as a staff member while she worked her way through law school, then worked as a legal intern, and now <span class=\"s8\">is<\/span> a full-time prosecutor.<\/p>\n<p class=\"p5\"><span class=\"s1\">&#8220;<\/span>The District Attorney&#8217;s Office is fortunate to add these prosecutors,&#8221; Hogan said. &#8220;They are bright, hard-working, and ethical.
