His work can be found hanging in many prestigious corporate and private collections. Those attending will have the opportunity to enjoy Faust’s Fall Trio along with the unveiling of his just completed Pony ‘n Birches oil painting.

In a recent interview with The Times, Faust revealed that Pony n Birches is one of his all-time personal favorite paintings; that completely startled me as it was SUCH a ‘no-no’, we were absolutely supposed to take good care of things, not break them,” says Faust, “He then used the broken charcoal to swiftly create bold lines for a tree’s trunk and then pressed the blunt end into the paper, twisted it to create unique tree leaves for his sketch…At the age of six I was hooked…I began snapping all of my new crayons and doodling nonstop!”

Faust encourages young artist to draw whatever inspires them. “Figure out how to capture what you love and put it into two dimensions. For me, early on it was comics; explaining, “It is the best way to keep your eyes moving, having them continually evaluate shapes and learn to interpret them on paper.”

Another highlight of the show is celebrated local gallery owner and 2015 Donating Artist Ana Delia McCormack’s Still Life with Peonies. McCormack obtained a strong Latin influence from her native country of Venezuela and likes to paint objects from nature, especially flowers, and capture them with bright, vibrant twists of color and light.

The Show takes on an interesting new twist this year with the addition of the ‘Art Salon’; a more intimate area that will showcase five local, contemporary artists and their works in steel, encaustic painting, and various mixed medium art. Attendees can also enjoy a guest speaker, meet the artists, take tours of CFE’s art collection, and for a small fee, kids can spend time in the Children’s Art Café .

<span style="font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;
