As always, we welcome your input.<\/em><\/p>\n<p><em><\/em><strong>1.\u00a0 Why are you running?<\/strong><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_969827\" style=\"width: 245px\" class=\"wp-caption alignright\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Snyder-235x300.jpg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-969827\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-969827\" style=\"border: 2px solid black; margin: 4px;\" alt=\"Snyder\" src=\"http:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/10\/Snyder-235x300.jpg\" width=\"235\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-969827\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Sandra Snyder<\/p><\/div>\n<p>I am running because as a mother of three young children I am very disgusted at the current state of our education system.\u00a0 I want there to be programs available to all students, and none should have to &#8220;pay to play&#8221; in our public school system.\u00a0 I truly believe that education is paramount, and that a good education is the main foundation upon which to help our children grow.\u00a0 A great education will help them to pursue better jobs, and be more productive members of society.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">2.\u00a0 Our community is looking to elect you as a leader;\u00a0 what would you want our readership and voters to know about how you demonstrate leadership? \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">I lead by example. I treat others\u00a0with respect and try to demonstrate that to others.\u00a0 I have successfully led many local organizations as well as helped my local township by being a very active leader on many East Goshen Township related boards and committees.\u00a0 I have always been in leadership roles from my time at Penn State where I was a leader on my campus Student Government, to my leadership roles at Widener University School of Law.\u00a0 I will be proud to serve as the Representative to an area where I was born and that holds a very close place in my heart.<\/span><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">3. Please provide an example of a tough decision you\u2019ve had to make.\u00a0 Why was it tough? \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">I feel I make tough decisions on a daily basis.\u00a0 Anyone raising kids, working full time, and juggling a household can tell you that tough decisions are made everyday.\u00a0 The\u00a0ability to balance your daily life with the obligations of community and work are very daunting.\u00a0 However I choose to volunteer on\u00a0multiple community organizations as well as\u00a0charitable organizations because I want to give back.\u00a0 I want to\u00a0consistently improve the quality of life for my family and for my neighbors.\u00a0 I feel that giving back to a community is a key\u00a0component to that lifestyle.\u00a0 And sure it means hectic days and busy evenings, but to me its worth it,\u00a0especially when I see first hand the appreciation\u00a0among\u00a0our residents when we work to improve their lives.<\/span><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">\u00a0<\/span><br \/>\n<strong>4. What make you uniquely qualified to deal with the diverse personalities, priorities and perspectives that you will find in the PA Legislature? \u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>I have always been a person who can relate to those around me.\u00a0 I believe that most people want to be heard, and that when we have a more diversified group of individuals we can better\u00a0<span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">represent ourselves as a whole.\u00a0 I think having an open door policy is key.\u00a0 You have to allow\u00a0constitutes and\u00a0organizations to come and bring their problems to you.\u00a0 I mean ideally that is\u00a0what a State Representative should be, a problem\u00a0solver.\u00a0 I deal with all types of people in my line of work as an attorney and I always need to help people reach resolutions that work for both sides, this will be very similar when dealing with the legislature.\u00a0 We need to work together, gridlock in government hurts only the people it is supposed to represent.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">5. Why should voters vote for you? \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">Voters should vote for me because they are looking for a person who can address the needs of our local community.\u00a0 Someone who will build strong schools, protect our environment, and who will stand up for our local area, and not be pushed around by politics.\u00a0 I am running because I truly believe that one person can make a difference, and I want to make my community a better place to raise my family.<\/span><br \/>\n<strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">6. Is there anything else you\u2019d like to make sure our readership and voters know about you? \u00a0<\/span><\/strong><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">I just would tell people how\u00a0absolutely critical it is to vote.\u00a0 It truly is a right that we have in\u00a0this country that should not be taken lightly.\u00a0 People need to come out on Tuesday November 4th and vote.\u00a0 Nothing should stop them, I have a full time job and three little kids, when I need to, I take my kids to\u00a0the\u00a0polls with me!\u00a0 I think its a great educational experience for them to see their parents voting.\u00a0 Every vote is critical in an election and everyone&#8217;s vote matters.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><strong><span style=\"font-family: arial, sans-serif;\">7.
