CHADDS FORD \u2014\u00a0 The upcoming Chadds Ford Art Sale & Show is known for its popular raffles which feature art by talented Brandywine Valley artists.\u00a0 This year\u2019s raffles will include artwork by N.C. Wyeth, Andrew Wyeth and Jamie Wyeth.\u00a0 Founded by Betsy Wyeth in 1949, the Chadds Ford Art Sale & Show has long-held ties with the Chadds Ford-based Wyeth family.<\/p>\n

Each year, a \u201cDonating Artist\u201d creates artwork specifically for the Chadds Ford Art Sale & Show.\u00a0 This year\u2019s Donating Artist is John Hannafin of West Chester.\u00a0 Hannafin\u2019s unique oil on canvas titled \u201cBirmingham Schoolhouse\u201d is a plein air work of the historic schoolhouse located at Birmingham and Meetinghouse Roads in Chadds Ford.\u00a0 <\/p>\n

Additional raffles will include works by artists Elizabeth Domoter, Diane Heitzmann, Monica Markarian, Patricia Reese, Paul Scarborough, Ann Thompson and Kelly Watson.<\/p>\n

This year\u2019s \u201cFeatured Artist\u201d is Richard Bollinger of West Chester, a distinguished artist whose work is featured in 125 galleries across America. His featured piece, \u201cEvening At North Farm,\u201d is a beautiful watercolor depicting the bucolic countryside of the Brandywine River Valley.<\/p>\n

The Art Sale & Show will open on Friday evening with a complimentary reception where patrons can \u201cmeet the artists\u201d while enjoying live classical music and complimentary hors d\u2019oeuvres from local restaurants including Carrabbas Italian Grill, Floga Bistro, Mile High Steakhouse, PF Changs, Pat\u2019s Pizzeria, Pescatores, Pure Bread Deli, Sovana Bistro and many more.<\/p>\n
