Pictured: Chissy Sheehan, Amy Kramer, Scott, Unionville High School principal Paula Massanari, Mike Heim, Sheila Himes and Dawn Heim.<\/p><\/div>\n<p><span style=\"font-family: arial,helvetica,sans-serif;\"><strong>By Mike McGann<\/strong>, <span style=\"font-size: 8pt;\">Editor, The Times<\/span><\/span><br \/>\nEAST MARLBOROUGH \u2014 It may be the best-kept secret in Unionville: what will be the theme of this year\u2019s after prom event at Unionville High School?<\/p>\n<p>While that remains a closely-guarded secret \u2014 and will remain so until the event opens for a special public preview Saturday night, from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m., along with special raffles for walk-thru guests of cool prizes: Longwood Gardens Tickets, iTunes Gift Cards, Foxy Loxi Gift Cards, Starbucks and more \u2014 what isn&#8217;t a secret is that a lucky student will be winning a car, now on display in front of the building.<\/p>\n<p>UHS parents have worked for months coming up with plans to transform Unionville High School \u2014 typically in less than 24 hours \u2014 into an exciting new setting and always with a uniting theme.<!--more--><\/p>\n<p>Less of a secret \u2014 it&#8217;s now parked in from the of the high school: the now-annual gracious donation by Scott Honda of a quality used car to one lucky after prom attendee. The silver four-door will presented to one lucky attendee during the wee hours of the morning Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>The After Prom Committee \u2014 largely made up of parents of Unionville High School students \u2014 has worked for months to create this year\u2019s event. Like many years before, parents and volunteers have been hard at work transforming the high school into a theme-oriented event.<\/p>\n<p>The After-Prom was created in an effort to keep students safe \u2014 and give them a fun, post-prom destination.\u00a0 The all-night event offers students a memorable opportunity to join their friends in a safe and fun environment while providing activities, food and surprises. Numerous prizes and games will highlight the evening, which offers all sorts of unique entertainment opportunities, from games to movies to music and more. Throughout the night, prizes will be given away.<\/p>\n<p>In what is usually the most anticipated moment of the night \u2014 and now a tradition \u2014 one lucky student will win a used car from Scott Honda in West Chester. This year\u2019s car is a Honda Accord four-door sedan. The car has been on display in front of the high school throughout the month of May \u2014 and one lucky student will find themselves with the keys to the car sometime next week.<\/p>\n<p>The organizers wish to publicly thank the many businesses and individuals that have contributed materials, funds and prizes for the event, including: Scott Honda (car donor); Exelon, in the donors of $1,000 or more; donors of $500-1000: Russo Family Dentistry, Baccellieri Family Dentistry\u00a0and the Patton Middle School PTO.<\/p>\n<p>Donors of $250 to $500 include: Hendrix Orthodontist, Garnet Ford, Bryn Mawr Trust,The Gables\u00a0Restaurant\u00a0and Keenan Auto Body.<\/p>\n<p>Donors of $100-249 include: Fenstermacher &amp; Co, Pocopson Veterinarian Station, Perfect Impression, Lifetouch\/Prestige Photography, Pediatric Dentistry for Children, Fairfield Inn, Share My Secret and Burton Barber Shop.<\/p>\n<p>Donors of $50-99 include: K.S.N Images Inc. and Nuclear Electric Insurance Company.<\/p>\n<p>The following companies donated goods and services: Amy Kramer Photography, Carousel Toyota, Corrective Chiropractic, Five Below, Floga Bistro, P.J.
