Representatives take services on road for citizens who aren\u2019t ambulatory<\/em><\/span><\/h1>\n

\"Image<\/a>The Chester County Register of Wills Office wants to remind residents that it will accommodate those in need of assistance who can\u2019t travel to its West Chester office.<\/p>\n

About a year ago, Register of Wills Terri Clark instituted a policy of sending representatives to hospices, nursing facilities, hospitals, and private homes to execute legal documents pertaining to marriage licenses and notarizing power-of-attorneys for those who are in their last stages of life, who are not ambulatory, or who have severe health problems.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis service was not previously offered,\u201d Clark said. \u201cSo far, we have served several clients in the areas of Unionville, West Chester, Pottstown and Coatesville.\u201d<\/p>\n

Clark said the new program has serviced marriage license applications and power of attorney documents. \u201cOur staff will go on the road to help our needy residents,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n
