With assistance from its 2014 Philadelphia Flower Show installation, the Chester County Art Association will transform its grounds for the \u201cParty in Our Park\u201d fund-raiser.<\/p><\/div>\n

The Chester County Art Association (CCAA) is hosting \u201cParty in Our Park,\u201d a fund-raiser featuring art, music, food, and fun on Friday, April 25, from 6:30 to 10:30 p.m.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

The evening will feature works of art by select CCAA artists as well as the association\u2019s 2014 Philadelphia Flower Show entry, which was inspired by the 2005 Central Park installation created by artist Christo and his wife Jeanne Claude.<\/p>\n

Sponsored by Crozer Brinton Lake and Agway, the event will include entertaining activities and prize opportunities from Halladay Florist, Galer Estate Vineyard and Winery, Yori\u2019s Bakery, Victory Brewing Company, and CCAA. The setting will be CCAA\u2019s West Chester location, which will be transformed into a park-like setting.\u00a0Tickets cost $50 per person and $95 per couple. All proceeds support classes and programs at CCAA. Call CCAA at 610-696-5600 to purchase tickets or obtain more information.<\/p>\n

The association is undergoing a renovation that will upgrade its existing 1952 structure as well as add an additional 4,200 square feet of space for classrooms and exhibition. Over 3,000 children ages 3 to 18 enroll in the CCAA Summer Art Programs each year, and more than 400 classes are offered every year, with more than 5,000 adults and youth taking part. In addition, CCAA features periodic exhibits and gallery.<\/p>\n

The Chester County Art Association is located at 100 N. Bradford Ave. in West Chester. Gallery hours are 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
