Sanville, who served hors d&#8217;oeuvres during the Friday night portion of the 2014 Chadds Ford Art Sale &amp; Show.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Organizers of the 65<sup>th<\/sup> Annual Chadds Ford Art Sale &amp; Show want to thank everyone who made the popular event another huge success.<\/p>\n<p>On March 21 and March 22, more than 900 people attended the show and sale, helping to raise more than $66,000. \u201cWe are always so happy with the support we receive from the community, and it would not be possible without the support we receive from the\u00a0parents,\u00a0the school, and the entire district,\u201d a news release said.<\/p>\n<p>The organizers said they were also grateful for the work of the participating artists and their willingness to interact with patrons at the show.<!--more--><\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_21451\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption alignleft\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/DSC_0043.jpeg\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-21451\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-21451 \" style=\"border: 2px solid black; margin: 4px;\" alt=\"Victoria Wyeth is flanked by Chadds Ford Elementary Principal Mark Ransford (left) and Andy Bell, a friend and model for her grandfather, Andrew Wyeth.\" src=\"http:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/DSC_0043-300x272.jpeg\" width=\"300\" height=\"272\" srcset=\"https:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/DSC_0043-300x272.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/DSC_0043-110x100.jpeg 110w, https:\/\/www.unionvilletimes.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2014\/04\/DSC_0043.jpeg 449w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-21451\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Victoria Wyeth is flanked by Chadds Ford Elementary Principal Mark Ransford (left) and Andy Bell, a friend and model for her grandfather, Andrew Wyeth.<\/p><\/div>\n<p>Approximately 30 percent of the $66,000 will go the Chadds Ford Elementary\u2019s PTO after expenses &#8211; such as mailings, printing, publicity, security and other costs &#8211; are paid. \u00a0 &#8220;This is our main fund-raiser and will help to support many educational opportunities for all of our children,&#8221; the release said.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s sale included a presentation by Victoria Wyeth, the\u00a0granddaughter of Andrew and Betsy Wyeth, who provided insight into her talented family&#8217;s art and private collection.\u00a0 The Chadds Ford Art Sale &amp; Show was founded by Betsy Wyeth in 1949 and continues to be a valuable fund-raiser for the elementary school.<\/p>\n<p>The show\u2019s featured artist for 2014 was the nationally known American realist painter, J. Wayne Bystrom, who resides in Kennett Square.
