Two to four inches of snow expected to hit county on Tuesday<\/em><\/span><\/h1>\n

\"IMG_2567\"<\/a>It may be spring, but winter refuses to loosen its icy grip: The National Weather Service is predicting two to four inches of snow for Chester County that is expected to start Tuesday morning and continue into Tuesday night.<\/p>\n

The previously anticipated nor\u2019easter will not affect the county, but another system moving across the country will bring snow accumulation on unpaved surfaces. The higher sun angle and above-freezing temperatures on Tuesday should help prevent significant daytime snow accumulations on normally warmer and paved surfaces.<\/p>\n

Although there remains some uncertainty to the track and how quickly it will intensify, the Tuesday evening and Wednesday morning commute will likely be impacted by snowfall and small amounts of snow accumulation. Temperatures on Tuesday nights will fall below freezing, and slick spots on untreated roadways and walkways could develop. Winds will be in the 30 mph range.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n
