The rules are pretty much the same: line up the branches, stump toward the road, nothing thicker than 12 inches around.

A less typical spring cleaning: the township’s ordinances. Pocopson’s Board of Supervisors is going through their entire volume of ordinances to find typographical errors, contradictions and the like for a one-time fix later this spring. As of now there are a total of 52 minor fixes planned. More robust renovations of the a handful of the township’s laws, if taken up, will be handled separately.

***

Unionville-Chadds Ford School District officials proudly showed off renovations to the LGI room at Hillendale Elementary School during last week’s Board of Education meeting. The school district, building staff, including custodial staff and the school’s Parent Teacher Association worked jointly on the project, which included new seating, paint, lighting and ceiling tiles — complete with husky paw prints.
