Kennett Square will be aglow with festively lit floats on Friday during the annual Holiday Light Parade.<\/p><\/div>\n

Historic Kennett Square is inviting area residents to see the light \u2013 actually lots of them – on Friday as the Annual Holiday Light Parade kicks off the season at 6:15 p.m.<\/p>\n

Last year\u2019s parade represented the debut of the illuminated floats, and this year\u2019s entries have more than doubled, parade organizers said. In addition to the festively lit creations, carolers, dance troupes, clowns, mascots, and Kennett High\u2019s marching band will proudly strut their stuff along State Street.<\/p>\n

The parade will culminate with the arrival of Mr. and Mrs. Claus in a horse-drawn carriage to light the borough\u2019s tree. Following the parade, children are invited to meet with the Clauses for photos and a treat.\u00a0Plus, shops will be aglow and open for business.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
