With Susan, we will\u00a0work with partners across our region to increase our impact and enlist even greater support for improving the lives of women, girls, and families in Chester County.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p><!--more-->Mostek, who also served as the Phoenixville Library\u2019s director of development, will start with the Fund on Nov. 18, the release said.\u00a0Mostek led the library&#8217;s successful capital campaign to fund its major renovation and expansion project, initiated a board governance best practices program, and developed the private fund-raising component of the library&#8217;s strategic plan.<\/p>\n<p>A graduate of Tulane University and Temple Law School, Mostek has Spanish language fluency and substantial accomplishments in the field of law.\u00a0Between 2007 and 2008, she served as president of the Junior League of Philadelphia. As its top executive, she implemented marketing and corporate fund-raising strategies for the 900-member, nonprofit organization and was instrumental in launching a new strategic plan. She lives in Chester County with her husband, a son, and two daughters, the release said.<\/p>\n<p><i>\u00a0<\/i>\u201cThe Fund improves the lives of women and girls in Chester County in many different ways,\u201d said Mostek. \u201cI am excited to become part of this vital resource and look forward to working with the community to see our impact grow even stronger.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Established in 1996, the Chester County Fund for Women and Girls is a nationally recognized women and girls foundation serving Chester County. It has distributed more than $1.9 million in grants to 58 agencies throughout Chester County with an endowment of more than $5 million.
