The Queen of Water<\/em> co-author \u00a0 Laura Resau will visit Unionville High Wednesday for an evening of \u00a0conversation.<\/p><\/div>\n

Two free events this week at Unionville High will provide area residents with options for \u00a0educational entertainment.<\/p>\n

The \u00a0“One Book One Unionville\u201d initiative will culminate with an author event and book-signing. During the summer, all Unionville High school students, along with members of the community, were asked to read the same book: The Queen of Water <\/i>by Laura Resau and Maria Virginia Farinango<\/a>. On Wednesday at 7 p.m., the public is invited to join Resau at the high school for a free evening of conversation.<\/p>\n

On Thursday, residents can celebrate President Lincoln with an evening that focuses on the leader known as \u201cHonest Abe,\u201d the Underground Railroad,\u00a0and the Civil War. Highlights of the free program, which will run from 6 to 9:30 p.m. in the high school auditorium, will include the award-winning movie \u201cLincoln,\u201d guest speakers and a panel discussion.
