Like many years before, parents and volunteers have been hard at work transforming the high school into a theme-oriented event.

The After-Prom was created in an effort to keep students safe — and give them a fun, post-prom destination. The all-night event offers students a memorable opportunity to join their friends in a safe and fun environment while providing activities, food and surprises. Numerous prizes and games will highlight the evening, which offers all sorts of unique entertainment opportunities, from games to movies to music and more. Throughout the night, prizes will be given away.

In what is usually the most anticipated moment of the night — and now a tradition — one lucky student will win a used car from Scott Honda in West Chester. This year’s car is a 2004 Honda Civic EX couple. The freshly painted black two-door has a sunroof and looks to be a solid car for a young person. The car has been on display in front of the high school throughout the month of May — and one lucky student will find themselves with the keys to the car sometime next week.

To follow the excitement, check them out on Twitter at UHSAP2013 and Facebook at UHS After Prom 2013.

Event organizers wanted to especially thank their event sponsors, who donate prizes and supplies to make the event possible

Sponsors include: Brandywine Ace Hardware, Acme, Brewer’s Outlet, Costco, Dominos of Chadds Ford, Giant Supermarket of Longwood, Herr Foods, Hy-Point Dairy, Jimmy John’s, Kennett Beverage, Landhope Farms, Pizza Peddler, Pretzel Factory of Chadds Ford, Rita’s of Chadds Ford, Ruby’s Diner, Sovana Bistro, Starbuck’s, Superfresh, Target, Wawa, Waywood Beverage, Baccellieri Family Dentistry, Bryn Mawr Trust, Burton’s Barber Shop, Carosel Toyota, Chadds Ford Animal Hospital, Fenstermacher, Hendrix Orthodontics, Keenan Auto Body, Kennett Design, Lovrinic Antiques, McGrory Solid Surfacing, Perfect Impression, Phillips Mushroom Farm, Pocopson Veterinary Station, Pro Musica, RP Nurseries, Russo Family Dental, Stolzfus RVs and Marine, Synergy Associates, and the center for Neuropyschology & Counseling.

The annual After-Prom returns to Unionville High School, Sat.; one lucky student will win a car from Scott Honda EAST MARLBOROUGH —Between working around construction in 2011 and needing to be held off-site in 2012, because of the ongoing renovations to Unionville High School, the last couple of After-Prom events have had a bit of […]

[5,7
3399,3400,3401,316,7427,2408
post-15895","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","has-post-thumbnail","hentry","category-community","category-featured","tag-after-prom","tag-prom-2013","tag-public-walk-through","tag-scott-honda","tag-unionville-high-school","tag-unionville-high-school-pto
["GET
