Longtime singer-songwriter Dan Navarro will perform Friday at the Kennett Flash.<\/p><\/div>\n

Billing himself as \u201ca known abuser of acoustic guitars,\u201d a longtime singer-songwriter is bringing his talents to the Kennett Flash on Friday.<\/p>\n

For over thirty years, Dan Navarro has written, sung, played, and acted his way through a diverse career. A songwriter for artists who include Pat Benatar, The Bangles, Jackson Browne, and The Temptations, Navarro recorded and toured for more than two decades with the late\u00a0Eric Lowen in the acoustic duo Lowen & Navarro.<\/p>\n

\u00a0Navarro has also performed as a singer and voice actor in films such as \u201cThe Lorax,\u201d \u201cHappy Feet,\u201d and \u201cThe Emperor\u2019s New Groove.\u201d He has worked as an activist in Washington on intellectual property, performer, and songwriter issues, and he serves as an institutional volunteer on the boards of such organizations as the American Federation of Television and Radio Artists (AFTRA), Folk Alliance International, and the Golden West Chapter of the ALS Association.<\/p>\n

The performance will be held at 8 p.m. Tickets are $15 in advance, or $18 at the door. The Flash is located at 102 Sycamore Alley,\u00a0Kennett Square, 19348.
