The Chester County Art Association is hosting a daylong trip to Washington, D.C., on April 10.<\/p><\/div>\n

View some of the country\u2019s finest art through the lens of the Chester County Art Association, which is hosting a bus trip to the National Gallery in Washington, D.C., on April 10.<\/p>\n

In addition to a private tour of the galleries, participants will be treated to a sketching session in the portrait gallery, said a news release from the association.<\/p>\n

The cost of the trip is $45. Departure is scheduled for 8:30 a.m., with a return about 9:30 p.m. For more details, call 610-696-5600, ext. 13<\/p>\n

The Chester County Art Association, located at 100 N. Bradford Ave., West Chester, is open 9:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday; admission is free. \u00a0Currently on display through April 19 are two exhibits, a juried show, \u201cPoetic Landscapes,\u201d<\/i> and a solo show of paintings by Sandra Severson, \u201c<\/i>Living Among Us: Glimpses from the Animal Realm.\u201d <\/i><\/p>\n

The association\u2019s Exton Square Studio is located on the first floor of the Exton Square Mall near Boscov\u2019s. Hours are Wednesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.<\/p>\n
